In Canada and other Commonwealth countries, Remembrance Day commemorates members of the armed forces who lost their lives in service, while in the United States, Veterans Day recognizes all military veterans for their dedication and courage. Music plays a powerful role in these observances. This week, we’re featuring our new song, “Thank You,” along with a collection of Remembrance Day and Veterans Day resources to help you plan meaningful classroom lessons and ceremonies. Explore these and more in the November 11th Unit on [MusicplayOnline](https://musicplayonline.com/). Ms. Plitt shares, “Finding the right song for Remembrance Day is always a challenge, but when the words *‘Thank You’* came to mind, I thought, *that’s exactly what we want to say.*” She describes the joy of hearing her students sing it each year and how shared songs help build a strong sense of community: *“It’s an amazing feeling to be in the gym with all the students singing together. I hope every teacher gets to experience that someday.”* Now available on [MusicplayOnline](https://musicplayonline.com/), “Thank You” can be used for Remembrance Day, Veterans Day, and in French, offering a meaningful way to honor our heroes through music. ### [Thank You - Remembrance Day Kids Demo Video](https://musicplayonline.com/songs/thank-you/) ### [Thank You - Veterans Day Notation Video](https://musicplayonline.com/songs/thank-you/) ### [Jour du Souvenir Annotation](https://musicplayonline.com/songs/thank-you/) [![Merci - Remembrance Day Notation - Store 2025](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%202025.jpg?width=375&height=290&name=Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%202025.jpg)![Merci - Remembrance Day Notation - Store 20254](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020254.jpg?width=375&height=289&name=Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020254.jpg)](https://musicplayonline.com/songs/thank-you/) [![Merci - Remembrance Day Notation - Store 20252](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020252.jpg?width=375&height=290&name=Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020252.jpg)![Merci - Remembrance Day Notation - Store 20253](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020253.jpg?width=375&height=290&name=Merci%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Notation%20-%20Store%2020253.jpg)](https://musicplayonline.com/songs/thank-you/) ### Find lyric and notation videos, lyric and notation slides, and accompaniment tracks in the [November 11th Unit](https://musicplayonline.com/units-list/november-11th/) on [MusicplayOnline.](https://musicplayonline.com/) This song is also available as a [Single Song Kit](https://store.musicplay.ca/products/thank-you-single-song-kit?_pos=1&_sid=b1b4f319d&_ss=r) on the [Musicplay Store](https://store.musicplay.ca/) [![Thank You Veterans Day Cover](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Thank%20You%20Veterans%20Day%20Cover.jpg?width=235&height=304&name=Thank%20You%20Veterans%20Day%20Cover.jpg)](https://store.musicplay.ca/products/thank-you-single-song-kit)   [![01 Thank You - Remembrance Day Cover](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/01%20Thank%20You%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Cover.jpg?width=235&height=304&name=01%20Thank%20You%20-%20Remembrance%20Day%20Cover.jpg)](https://store.musicplay.ca/products/thank-you-single-song-kit) --- ## Tricks, Treats, and Tunes: Fall Music Activities for Elementary Students ## with Stacy Werner [![Tricks, Treats, and Tunes Fall Music Activities for Elementary Students Webinar with Stacy Werner](https://blog.musicplay.ca/hs-fs/hubfs/Tricks%2c%20Treats%2c%20and%20Tunes%20Fall%20Music%20Activities%20for%20Elementary%20Students%20Webinar%20with%20Stacy%20Werner.png?width=650&height=325&name=Tricks%2c%20Treats%2c%20and%20Tunes%20Fall%20Music%20Activities%20for%20Elementary%20Students%20Webinar%20with%20Stacy%20Werner.png)](https://workshops.musicplay.ca/courses/tricks-treats-and-tunes-fall-music-activities-for-elementary-students-webinar-with-stacy-werner/) Wednesday, October 22th, 2025 @ 4:30-5:30 MST (60 Minutes) A recorded version will be available if you are unable to watch live.  ## About the Webinar: Spooky season is here, and MusicplayOnline has plenty of fun to share!
